What Personally Identifiable Information is Collected
The PCC will not obtain personally-identifying information about visitors to our website unless you choose to provide such information to us. PCC members and individuals who sign up for electronic communications, events, videos, and training programs voluntarily provide us with contact information (such as name, phone, and e-mail address). Except as might be required by law, we do not share any information we receive with any outside parties.
You may opt out of PCC communications at any time via the link on emails you receive from the organization or by contacting the PCC staff.
How Your Information May Be Used
The PCC uses personal information to:
- Send e-mail newsletters, program announcements, course updates, surveys, and other relevant communications from the organization
- Process applications for membership, scholarships, fellowships, or admissions
- Answer requests and inquiries about programs, membership, or referrals
- Populate the member directory for the community and, for professional members, the online therapist search featured on the website
The Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas does not provide, sell or rent email addresses or other personal information to anyone outside the organization.
Occasionally, the PCC will share programs or announcements from affiliated organizations or include links to external websites that may be of interest to our members. These links do not fall under the www.CarolinaPsychoanalytic.org domain; therefore, the Psychoanalytic Center of the Carolinas is not responsible for the privacy practices or the content of external websites. Your use of any linked website is solely at your own risk.
