501 – Adult Case Conference

Description:  The course seeks to examine closely the fine-tuned analytic process of one psychoanalytic case. We will explore verbatim notes with attention to transference, countertransference, clarification, interpretation, resistance, linking, dreams, and frame. In this seminar participants present adult case material. A variety of technical issues related to working with adults in psychoanalysis are discussed.  

Target Audience: This course is intended for clinicians at the intermediate to advanced levels. 

Prerequisite:  This class is open to matriculated students in psychoanalysis track who have patients in analytic treatment. Students should have completed most of the core curriculum.
